Chaired by leadership team member Sabrine Dao.

Preventing and solving conflicts, efforts to build sustainable peace, as well as working to promote democracy and to protect fundamental human rights and individuals’ dignity have become the most crucial challenges that humanity has to face.

Today, all communities part of our societies hold the responsibility to contribute to a more resilient, sustainable and just world for all.

The ambition for this working group is to contribute to the field of international security by building intersectional knowledge and tools, coming straight from the vital expertise of women.

We are inclusive and welcome people identifying as women, from all ages and ethnicities. The more diverse our group is, the more impactful and relevant our work will be.

At WIIS UK, we believe that our community can serve the greater good and contribute to the general dialogue on Human Security & Peacebuilding by bringing forward the essential voice of women, often not heard enough
